The hydro-pneumatic accumulator is a device designed specifically for storage of liquid under pressurized, it is incompressible to liquid , to make use of the compressibility of gas (Nitrogen). Achieving the purpose of energy storage.
A - Through a special valve put an inert gas (nitrogen) to charged in to bladder with pressure P0.Gas bladder is expands, it is full volume (Vo) of accumulator completely.
B - As oil circuit pressure P1.is higher than gas pressure of pre-charged P0, the fluid valve. Opened or liquid oil in to accumulator inside, the gas bladder compressed reducing so that gas volume V1.( must be P1>P0 )
C - If the liquid pressure up to P2, then the volume of gas down to V2, at this point, the pressure of gas & liquid should be achieve an average value,. In the course of pressurized, the gas volume changed △V= V1-V2, The cubage volume changed △V is to use of the potential energy what come from the effective cubage of working action.

 

1.Products with volume less than 1L can be installed directly on the pipeline; For products with a volume of more than 1L or a weight of more than 5Kg, clamp and base bracket shall be used for installation and fixation. The accumulator body shall not be fixed by welding or riveting.
2. Accumulators should be installed vertically in principle, and certain space should be left at the charging valve for convenient maintenance and inspection.
3. When used to absorb pulsations and pulses, it should be installed as close as possible to the vibration source.
4. Install relief valve or shut-off valve between pump and accumulator for charging, inspection,maintenance or long-term shutdown.

1.Before the accumulator is used, it is necessary to check whether the pre-charged nitrogen pressure satisfy the requirements of the working condition.
2. The accumulator must be filled with nitrogen or other inert gas (nitrogen with purity greater than 99.2%); Do not use oxygen or air to avoid explosion.
3. Nitrogen should be filled slowly to prevent broken of the bladder.
4. Nitrogen is charged, discharged and tested by charging tool.
5. Pre-charge nitrogen pressure.
Absorb pulsation and pulse, take 60% ~ 80% of working pressure;
In other working conditions, the pre-charge pressure should be lower than 90% of the minimum working pressure and higher than 25% of the maximum working pressure.

 

1.During application of accumulator, check pre-charging pressure and looseness of thread regularly.
2.Check the new applied accumulator once at first week, and another time at the first month. And then check every three months to keep its best working efficiency. Find problems and fix in time.
3.When the accumulator is out of use for a long time, the shut off valve between accumulator and the pipeline should be closed to ensure that a little of hydraulic oil reserved in the accumulator.
4.The pressure oil must be removed before the accumulator is removed, and the nitrogen must be removed by charging tool.
5.Tighten the nut at maximum system pressure. If the oil is still leaking, please remove and replace the relevant parts.
